F-F-Finals WEEK

HELLO EVERYBODY (I'm writing that in the tune to Retro, Dance, Freak by Gaga btw)

So I've got limited time here but let me break down my life lately:

I go home in 2 days for a month. Can't even talk about how excited I am!! However, this means it is finals week. While I was under stress as it was, one of my professors realized she had mis-communicated the date/time of our final and gave us less than 24 hours notice of its new time. I obviously had planned to study according to the old schedule while also writing papers that were due this week. I admit to my procrastination, but it was still a bit unfair. This curveball left me writing/finishing 3 papers in 3 days while also cramming for my sudden final. Long story short, I pulled an all-nighter to get shit done. Now I'm finishing my last paper that's due tomorrow at 11. Then I've only got one more final until I'M OFF TO MISSOURI!

I realize this is boring but damn...stressful time.

Side note: I'm listening to "Ca Plane Pour Moi." If you've ever seen the Mary-Kate & Ashley movie, Winning London, you'll recognize this song.

Fiz what?

It's been awhile but....

I'm just gonna jump right in with a few random thoughts:

Every week, I watch Parenthood and seriously end up crying. Not always at sad things, but the show is just such an emotional roller coaster.

Also, Chevelle just released a new song called Fizgig. That sounds weird, but just look it up. I've listened to it on YouTube about 4 times and I love it. I'm not quite sure how to put it but everything about the song almost sounds wrong or off which is what makes it so interesting to listen to.

Speaking of new music, I may be crazy but I always love discovering something new and how it feels foreign. I'm always a little sad when I become desensitized to a song or an artist or whatever. Does anyone else ever think this?

By the way, 16 days until I go home for a month for Winter break! Between now and then I have several papers, finals, and readings that I have to get through.
