Swallowed

I can barely drag myself away from Facebook and Twitter (mostly Twitter). I get so addicted to seeing certain people's tweets that I compulsively check my news feed.

Random: I went to the Natural History museum and Central Park yesterday. It was extremely nice and the park reminded me of home.

In other news, I've always been a person that has had dreams that I can mostly remember. In the past few weeks especially I've been having ridiculously vivid, numerous dreams. I started writing them down. From the past 5 nights, I'm up to 12 dreams. If only you knew what they were about...

One last thing before I go: 17 days until I go back home to Missouri for the summer!

April

Okay, so today I'm just writing what has happened lately. Nothing exciting but I just realized it's been awhile.

2 days ago (that's right, April Fool's Day) was my birthday! I was a little worried that because I was away from my immediate friends and family that it wouldn't be that great. Luckily, it turned out to be fun. It was casual: just dinner with a few friends. But what really made my day was that the people that mean the most to me wished me a happy birthday (lame, I know).

This leads me to my next point. I mean what I'm about to say in a non-depressing way; I swear. Because I had low expectations for my birthday, anything that happened was an automatic plus. This is something I've been trying to do lately: Start with low expectations and then anything that happens is better. Weird.

2 days before my birthday I also ran into Ellie Goulding at urban outfitters. A pleasant surprise indeed.

Also, I've never been one of those people that died of happiness for summer but in the past few years I've become pretty damn fond of that season. And now that it's April that means that summer is so close I can taste it. Let's hope this summer lives up to my non-expectations ;)
