It's Alive versus MDD

I listen to a lot of music. I know a few bands. Some of these bands I love more than others. Some of these bands make music that actually matters, not just because it sells. This doesn't represent the order of my favourite bands exactly, more of which category they're in. Here's the ranking from emotional music to shitty music.

As you can see, I like to make lists. I'm a micro-manager. These are my favourite shows in no particular order:

Today

These are the thoughts I had today. I was originally going to independently post them on Twitter or Facebook, but I just decided to post here as one thought instead.

1) It's funny how My Darkest Days are assholes now. They were fun on tour in Summer 2010, now things have obviously changed.
2) I legitimately think that Dasani and Smart Water taste purer than all other bottled waters.
3) Today, I heard a girl say "I have seriously been eating ice all year and going to the gym everyday. If I'm not 100lbs by Summer, I'm gonna kill someone." All  I have to say is...wow.
4) I started watching the New Girl a few months ago and almost stopped because it started sucking. Since January though, it's been hilarious. I definitely recommend.

Okay, so I realize these aren't exciting epiphanies but I just thought I'd put them out there.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of ’97

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. 
I will dispense advice now. 

• Don’t worry about the future.
• Do one thing everyday that scares you. 
• Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours.
• Sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself. 
• Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults.
• Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t. 
• Your choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. 
• Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for good. 
• Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard.
• Live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft. 
• Travel.
